Functional Materials Using Advanced Lithography
Technology for Life Science and Healthcare
Activities of Takei Laboratory
Promoting bridging support for education and research, new product development, and practical application of life science and healthcare functional materials.
We have established research collaboration and international exchange systems with domestic and international companies in the cosmetics, pharmaceuticals, chemicals, plastics, devices, and molding fields, and are making advanced use of nanoprocessing and lithography technologies.
Target・Application
We are researching functional materials and microfabrication technologies that can contribute to people’s health in the life science and healthcare fields, which are expected to grow significantly in the future.
Originality・Results
It is said that one of the science and technology of the 21st century is nanoscience and material processing technology.
We are expanding into new fields based on the results of gas-permeable porous molds, high value-added materials such as water-soluble resist and patterning materials, and nano-processing and molding technology.
Facility
We independently own a clean room that can ventilate about 10 times an hour and an electron beam lithography system that can perform microfabrication of several nanometers, and we handle everything from selecting raw materials for pharmaceuticals, cosmetics, foods, and medical devices to materialization, molding, analysis, and physical properties. Our laboratory has the facilities and environment where you can learn everything from new product development to intellectual property creation from faculty members who have gone through the process of commercialization through evaluation.
